The number of remaining Wildfires is unknown, but we do have information about a few. Below are listed known surviving Wildfires, their owners and the individual stories.
Ted Griffin's Series II Woodill Wildfire
In 1955, Ted built his Wildfire from a kit supplied by Woody and a wrecked 1954 Ford taxi cab donor car. Ted is in the process of completely restoring his Wildfire. Ted has kept all of his documentation over the years and still has letters from Woody. The majority of the information on this site is from Ted's archives.
Fred Roth's Original Series I Wildfire
This site is devoted to the Fred and Deanna Roth's original Series I Wildfire. It was one of the very few Wildfires built as a production car by Woodill Motors. Fred also has an excellent history of the Wildfire on his site.
George Albright's Original Series I Wildfire
Along with Fred Roth, George Albright has the distinction of owning one of only two known Series I Wildfires in existence. George's Wildfire is currently undergoing a full restoration.
Christophe Grandis' Original Series II Wildfire
Just recently, WoodillWildfire was contacted by this Woodill Wildfire owner from France. Mr. Grandis is the proud owner of the Series II Woodill Wildfire that Woody built for the 1954 Paris Auto Show.
